As this year begins, I always reflect on the previous year and think about what I achieved, what I didn’t achieve and what I could have pushed myself to do more of. There are always a few things that creep up every year like I wish I became more fit or lost more weight or made more time for ‘me. I tend to rethink these things year on year like a lot of people probably do. I know there is also the few that GET IT DONE and for that I commend you. Here’s my 2018 Round-Up blog post HERE.
Every year I write down a list of things that I plan to do in that year and want to achieve. Some are quite small, others quite big. I believe in setting goals to strive towards and to have a focus on each year. You can go through life from one year to the next and I suppose for some people that’s fine if that is what you want. For me it’s different, I think we are given one life & one life only and we should LIVE IT! A friend’s mum once said to me how much she loved my ambition to make the most of everything in life and that I am always on the go. It’s TRUE! I am always planning my next adventure or trying out something new. I don’t think there is anything wrong with striving for more, ALWAYS. I don’t want an ordinary life nor do I plan to live one. I want to live my life to the fullest and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
So what am I looking at for 2019?
Here it goes…..
Feel good in my body again. Fit back into those shorts and get back into ‘THAT DRESS’. I’m not going on weight, just become comfortable in my clothes again that once fit me and no longer do.
Go on the Harry Potter Hogwarts Express in Orlando ✅
Start back running and finally do Hell and Back on the 15th June
Climb the Stairway to Heaven in Co. Fermanagh
See the Northern Lights & swim in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland
Go across the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in Co. Antrim
Go to Vegas
Watch an NBA game
Fly in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon
Zipline through Las Vegas
Climb to the Hollywood Sign
Go to the Dubai Air Show
See the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi
Start Irish classes and learn to speak Irish again
Stay in Ashford Castle
There are a few more personal achievements I have in mind too but they are ones that I want to keep to myself. If I do achieve them, of course I will share them with you all
So that’s it. My goals for 2019.
BRING IT ON!
