Since I announced I was pregnant I’ve had so many more people following me and a lot of you are new mums too. We went to Malta (above) when I was 27 weeks pregnant and it was lovely but from then onwards the doctor said I could no longer fly. This all depends on the person so check with your own GP.

Going on a little babymoon down the country can be fabulous for you both and it’s nice to spend time together just you and him. We been on a few little getaway breaks around Ireland in the past few months and I love exploring our little island.  A lot of places these days have started doing mum to be packages you’ll find and they have pretty good deals too.

Here is my TOP 5 hotels I recommend for the perfect babymoon…..

Powerscourt also don’t have a specific baby moon package but their package for 1 night B&B + dinner is below:

  • One night stay for two
  • Full Irish Breakfast
  • Evening meal at SIKA
  • 20% off ESPA treatments

This costs a total of €170 per person sharing

If you want to add on a mum to be package, you can add this for €160 (Mon-Fri) or €180 (Sat-Sun)

  • Maternity Massage or Personalised Facial
  • Soothing Pedicure
  • Full use of the Swarovski crystal-lit swimming pool and Serenity Room*
  • Lunch in the Spa Café

Just to make everyone clear majority of places will not allow you use most heat experiences so just be prepared for that if you are going anywhere. Any hotels with a swimming pool is fine but it’s more saunas and hot tubs.

So I hope you found that helpful and maybe you’ll be tempted to head away just the two of you and visit one of these fabulous hotels. If I REALLY had to choose between them all now and pick just one hotel, I think it would be a close one between The Europe and Galgorm but I reckon because of their extensive Thermal Village, Galgorm wins.

Happy Babymooning :)
