Thankful for…..

The gifts that I get sent every week. I am seriously so grateful for each and every company that takes the time to send me beautiful gifts. When I started this blog 5 years ago, it never even crossed my mind that I would get sent stuff anything. I absolutely adore writing and that is 100% why I do The Secret Obsession. I enjoy sharing my life, thoughts and reviews with you all and to receive gifts is just so lovely & something I am extremely grateful for. I received three lovely packages the other day and I wanted to mention them. The never paid me to mention them however I did receive the items as gifts.

My first package was from Narah & Co. They are a gorgeous online boutique which stocks stunning classic pieces which. Their site is very much my style. They had asked me to pick some of my favourite pieces from their site to try and naturally I was thrilled. I picked three gorgeous dresses. Shop their site HERE.

My second package was from The Dress Emporium is an online boutique started by 17 year old, Lauren Murray which is SO impressive for her age. She kindly sent me over two pieces, this gorgeous red playsuit & this stunning long black dress. I plan on wearing both of these in Los Angeles in a few weeks time. Shop her site HERE.

Excited about…..

Getting my lips done again. As many of you know I got my lips done last November and the results were incredible. I didn’t want a massive change but more a look that was natural enough that people wouldn’t know if they didn’t know me. Unfortunately my lips didn’t work out and my filler had to be removed in April of this year. My lips went really bad and I was really upset about them.

I needed to wait at least two months before getting them redone again. This time round I’m off to see Mr. Golchin at the Beacon Face & Dermatology Clinic in Sandyford. I wanted to make sure I was in the best possible hands and I know I am here. Mr. Golchin is a consultant ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeon. A Facial Plastic Surgeon does not perform plastic procedures below the neck, and he limits the area on which he operates. Examples of procedures performed by Facial Plastic Surgeons are facelifts, rhinoplasty, and brow lifts. He is by far the best person in Ireland and I cannot wait to get my lips done with him.

Looking forward to…..

Los Angeles.

Eeeeeeekkk!!!! I cannot wait! We are off in just under three weeks and to say I’m excited is an understatement. We have so much planned and I am actually like a kid at Christmas. We have some normal tourist things planned like the Hollywood sign hike, Universal Studios, Venice Beach cycle, Walk of Fame and we are renting a car so plan on seeing Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive etc. Does anyone have any other recommendations, shops, cafes, restaurants etc?

Delighted with…..

My new hair. I’ve been extension free for the last three weeks now and although it’s nice without them, I just love the volume with my Gold Fever hair extensions. They really are out of this world. No other extensions compare to them and nobody ever even knows they are extensions. For those of you that don’t know, I get them applied in Zero One salon in Greystones which is hands down the best salon I have ever been to. I never leave unhappy which is the number one reason I go back time and time again. They get it right every single time, colour, cut and extensions. You can check them out HERE.

Recommending…..

Juice Plus Boosters. I’ve been using these now for a month throughout my weightloss journey. It’s a journey that has been slow but steady. I don’t want to loose all this weight and then just regain in all in a few months. I had what I wanted in Portugal last week as in the 4 weeks of doing the programme I haven’t had a proper cheat day. I came back and was straight back on it. If you haven’t read my blog post on goals, you can read it HERE.

Waiting on…..

My transatlantic training. This month I will do my week long course to train for the bigger A330 aircraft and be able to do all our American routes. This is something I am really looking forward to as not only will I get to see all these places but I will have a bit more time off due to the long flights. My first trip is to Toronto and it’s somewhere I’ve never been before. I can’t wait.

Loving…..

Trying out Feed meal pots. They lovely Shane got in touch and asked me to try them out this week. I have to say they are delicious. Best thing is they are plant based and really nutritious. They definitely kept me full which was great. They work with Mary’s Meals to provide a meal for some of the world’s hungriest children in 12 different developing nations. For every pot sold they donate one school meal to a child in the developing world. Today Mary’s Meals feeds over 1.1 million children in schools across the world and with our help they can help eradicate food poverty from this world of plenty. How insane is that? GO SHANE and his team. If you want to find out more, check them out HERE.
