Each year Pantone predicts the hue that is set to make an impact in both the fashion and design world. They set the scene for the following year giving both designers a focus. The colour for 2017 is a ‘fresh and zesty yellow green” called Greenery. If you can think of Kermit the Frog or Waitrose (supermarket in the UK) green.
The choice and inspiration behind the colour for this year has come from the great outdoors. The spring 2017 runways from designers like Balenciaga, Pucci, Sies Marjan, Michael Kors, Kenzo and Zac Posen all had clothes created in what Pantone calls “nature’s neutral.”
So what are your thoughts? Would you wear this bold colour? Or would you rather just give this a miss?
