This Month I’m…..

Sitting in Zero One salon in Greystones getting my colour done. I’m going for balayage again and decided not to go back blonde. I think the balayage is better for my hair. I was getting my highlights done every 6-7weeks and it’s a lot of maintenance so with the balayage it’s just much easier. It helps when I adore the colour. They are incredible in Zero One at getting the colour just PERFECT.

Clicking on….. :) I was super excited to announce my fabulous collaboration with Irish jewellery brand, Seoidin this week. Maureen Harrison (below) is the woman behind the brand and she makes the most beautiful hand-made jewellery along with stocking the most unique Irish crafts. I will be collaborating with Maureen to show you how to style her beautiful pieces. We will be of course running some competitions so keep an eye over on my Instagram @aoibhedevlin for this 😉 See below the gorgeous Gold Feather necklace I am wearing below. It’s so dainty, I love it. You can buy it HERE.

Dreaming about…..

My next trip :) I can’t reveal anything yet as it’s all not 100% set in stone but when it is I can tell you all. I love nothing more than planning an adventure. Andrew thinks I am a bit crazy but I am spontaneous and there is a whole world out there to explore. Why not?

The palettes from Makeup Revolution. You can buy them in Meagher’s Pharmacy or online & the prices are seriously amazing!! The top palette is called Gold Sugar is only €7.99 and the bottom one is called Blush Queen is only €8.40! Amazing value and just LOOK AT THEM!!!!!

Delighted that…..

I am a finalist in the 2016 Littlewoods Blog Awards 2016. Seriously even if I don’t win, I am absolutely thrilled to have gotten this far and be amongst talented people. Good luck to all the other amazing finalists that made it.

Thinking about…..

How amazing my new Clutterbox is 😀 I am a bit late to the party with these storage units etc but I swear I need more. They are just so handy & I cannot get over how I have lived so long without one. They literally are a life saver. I got the four drawer one and think it’s a perfect addition to my dresser. Seriously worth the investment and great for just organising the makeup you always use daily or weekly. I’ve soooo much makeup and I just put what I use every week or day into it so it’s much easier than rummaging around in big drawer. Check out my one below or on their website HERE.

This week 5 years ago I went volunteering in South Africa. The little boy in the photo (below) Micheal had nothing. His mum & dad were both drug users and he had it very tough at home. He lived in a tiny shack that brought me to tears. He had a hard life & was only 7years old but He LOVED school. I volunteered in the school & taught surfing after school with two other volunteers. During the month I was there I took Micheal under my wing. I treated him like my own. I still think about him all the time. Someday I’ll go back to South Africa. It’s a wonderful place, full of amazing people. Micheal was only one of the little people I met on my journey. It’s such an experience. I will never forget it & the trip still makes me cry today. After the fabulous feedback I got on Instagram and Snapchat, I am definitely going to do a blog post on my experiences volunteering. Look out for it on the blog next week 😉

A visit to the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons.

From Saturday, October 29, 2016 – Sunday, November 6, 2016, the most iconic Marilyn Monroe garment of all time will arrive and be displayed there for one week only, before going onto auction in LA later in November. The museum will be the only place in Europe to have the piece so it’s really special that Newbridge got picked to have it. The dress was the one Marilyn wore when she sang Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy at Madison Square Garden in 1962. I missed the last blogger event at the museum and I was raging. They have pieces Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Barbra Streisand, Tippi Hedren, Ingrid Bergman, The Beatles, Michael Jackson to name only a few. I can’t wait to Marilyn’s dress :)
