This week the DIT Fashion Society hosted their annual Model Castings with guest judges; Holly White, Xposé stylist and presenter, fashion stylist Brian Conway, leading men’s fashion blogger Rob Kenny, who carefully sought out the model potential of DIT Students. Over 100 DIT students strutted their stuff in hopes to be a model in Ireland’s largest student run fashion event, the DIT Fashion Show in Vicar Street, April 2016.The annual fashion show is entirely run by students and is now going into its 13th year. Two models will then go on to win a contract with 1st Option Model Management.
Guest judge Holly White, fashion blogger and Xposé stylist, commented on the DIT Fashion Society Model Castings “I was delighted to be asked to judge the castings because I’ve been going to the DIT Fashion Show for years now and it’s definitely a show that stands out to me every year. I always cannot believe it’s student run, and student participated in. It’s really exciting to see it at the early formation stages and I’m really excited to see how fabulous the show is going to be on the night. It’s a very tough call to be here today though!””
The DIT Fashion Show will be held in April 2016 in Dublin’s Vicar Street.
I can’t wait to see who makes the cut.
