Believe it or not our ‘summer’ is well and truly gone as August marks the first month of Autumn. Even though I personally love Autumn and it’s my favourite season I am a little bit sore about not having had a chance to sunbathe in the ‘Irish sun’ this summer but by taking the good with the bad we can now focus on the Fall and more importantly what to wear during this season.
Take inspiration from the catwalks of Givenchy, Prada and Burberry to make your next purchase will be a trend inspired one.
Fashion Trend #1 – The cool and comfy pyjama style:

Fresh from the catwalks of Max Mara and Marc Jacobs this cool laid back style may not be everyone’s cup of tea but with following lines from Calla and Alexandre Herchcovitch this trend is here to stay. A mix match of layers and textures mean we can quite frankly fall out of bed in our pjs, throw on a oversized shirt and we’re good to go.
Fashion Trend #2 – The sporty style:

A style that will be huge this fall are the use of ‘sporty’ clothing, with designers mainly focusing on colours like gold, red, olive and dark blue for the season textures are also hugely important when it comes to these looks focusing on neoprene and perforated leather to create the geometric pattern.
For this look shoes are equally important and they’re noted to be glittery, fishnet and vinyl this can be seen from so many fashion lines such as Lacoste, Miu Miu and Tommy Hilfigger.
Fashion Trend 3- The Boho style:

Boho vibes are the main impression you pick up on from watching any big name designers fashion show this fall and in particular it’s the one tone you can pick up on from the Burberry show with a whole line dedicated to the boho style.
Often described as ‘festival fashion’ this trend is set to be huge for Autumn/Winter 15/16 which we can’t imagine boho queen Vanessa Hudgens will be disappointed about.
Teal and olive are the main colours highlighted mainly in maxi dresses along with the updated versions of a waistcoat. This is one style I’m happy to see sticking around.
Fashion Trend #4 – Knitted and comfy

An obvious for any winter collection is the knitted and comfy style. Christmas time is all about the knits and running around in the cold you need to be comfy whether it be stylish or not, and of course yes this year it is on trend.
Fresh from the shows of Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam, Dion Lee and Tory Burch to name but a few almost every designer under the sun has showcased the knitted style so whether you pick up your bits in Primark or Tony Burch you’ll be on trend this fall.
Fashion Trend #5 – Overdone Fur

It should come as no shock to you that fur is here for the Winter, but from the catwalks of Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Versace and Roberto Cavalli fur should be done from head to toe and extremely eccentric. A winter statement piece which has been modernised by adding patchwork effects and bright colours.
Fashion Trend #6 – Military Khaki

Khaki-Clothing

It’s one of my personal favourite styles and that is the military look, hot from the catwalks of Calvin Klein, Balmain and Isabel Marant this statement look caught people’s attention with it’s soldier’s uniform vibe, as well as it’s strict silhouettes and structured look.
Fashion Trend #7 – The Trench Coat

The last style which we’ll be talking about today is the staple for most women’s wardrobe and that is the trench coat. The trench coat has featured on almost every catwalk for the Autumn/Winter 15/16 season and for obvious reasons. Making women feel glamorous since the beginning of time and oh yes, it’s here to stay.
