2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - Show

The countdown is officially on for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which is set to take place this Tuesday in London. The show will be broadcast next Tuesday the 9th of December on CBS in America. Lily Aldridge has been posting updates today as the Angels make their way from NYC to London on the Victoria’s Secret private plane.



The Angels work so hard to get ready for this show every year and endure grueling training sessions with their personal trainers. Here are some small changes and habits that we can implement into our daily routines that can really make a difference and have us all looking like Angels.

#1 Drink More Water


It sounds so cliche but it really is so vital for clear skin, bright eyes and a healthy complexion. We all really don’t drink enough water on a daily basis and I am the biggest culprit but constantly improving this. We should aim for 2 litres a day. The Angels all realise the importance of staying hydrated, particularly when travelling. In any interview they will always state water as a beauty secret. As well as regular water the VS Angels are BIG fans of coconut water.



#2 Fitness: Resistance Bands


The VS Angels are renowned for their intense trainings and also for mixing it up – they do running, ballet, yoga, pilates, boxing, TRX…the list goes on. One common exercise they all like to do, especially when on the go and travelling is resistance workouts because you can bring the bands with you anywhere. It’s so easy and you work off your own body weight so you can never over do it either. get yourself a pair and look up some easy exercises to do with the bands and you’ll get a lean and toned body too.


#3 Eat Clean

It’s an obvious one but nothing happens overnight. You need to be eating well on a daily basis to have a healthy glowing skin and healthy body too. Cut out the processed foods – especially white carbohydrates – this alone can make a huge difference. So no white bread, no white pasta and swap white rice for wholegrain. Try out quinoa as a really healthy alternative to rice that’s also high in protein.


#4 Drink Juice

All the VS Angels drink green juices and smoothies as a natural way of detoxing the body. It’s also a great way to up your intake of fruit and vegetables.
