Our 1st look was a simple smokey brown/copper eye with a bright pink lip.
The products we used were:

LIPS – Magenta Lip Liner MAC, Flat Out Fabulous MAC
BLUSHER – Dainty Blush MAC
How did you get into makeup Vanessa?
I have always loved makeup as long as i can remember so it was my obvious choice to go on to study makeup as a career. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
What is the one thing you love about working in the beauty industry?
I just love seeing my clients reactions! Knowing they feel better after i do their makeup is what I love about my job…

What are your favourite makeup brands?
Mac of course, MakeupForever and Illamasqua
What one bit of advice would you give to an aspiring makeup artist?
Practice Practice Practice! You learn so much from just picking up a brush and doing it…. Also a good makeup school is vital! My recommendation would be Avant Garde Makeup Academy & Studio as I loved it!
What is your best makeup tip?
Blend…Blend …Blend!! Don’t leave harsh lines anywhere on your face
What brushes are best to you?
I like CrownBrush. I have alot of MAC brushes and my Crownbrushes are just as good for a quarter of the price 😉
What are you TOP 5 products that you can’t live without?
Essence Long Lasting Liner in Drak Brown (The twisty one)
MAC- Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
Mac Brush in Number 217 (Blending eye shadow brush) Crownbrush also has a cheaper dupe for €8 NuSkin Nutricentials Mattifying Toner Naked or Vanilla pigment (has multiple uses)

Who is your favourite makeup artist?
Far too many to choose from. I love Pat Mc Grath, Joyce Bonelli, Kevin Aucoin and Scott Barnes
Where would you like to be in 5years time?
I’d love to be finally teaching and creating great makeup artists (currently in my teacher training)
