During the week the fabulous Louis Vuitton stunned everyone by putting on one of the most memorable fashion week shows of the past few years. Models went two-by-two at the perfectly symmetetrical ready-to-wear show which had an unusual choice of venue with a bank of escalators at the Louvre.
Something which was clearly not visible was the iconic LV logo. There was checks, splats, bold graphics and a definite nod to the 60’s but nothing that referred to the show as being Louis Vuitton. Anyone watching the show and unaware of the brand would have been non the wiser as to who’s show they were viewing.
Colours of black, white, lemon, green, grey and navy were the chosen colours and all made a very big impact. Each pair descend from the one of four escalators wearing merely identical outfits in the same pattern.
I thought some of the collection was nice, very ladylike. I did however adore the theme and how creative it was. here now. WATCH THE SHOW in full and you will see for yourself how amazing the chorography is. By far one of my favourites at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
What do you think??
