So a few weeks ago my skin was feeling dull and I knew it was time for a much needed facial. I wanted to try a new brand that I hadn’t tried lots of their products before so my good friend Grace who works on the amazing Sisley counter in Brown Thomas asked me to come in and try their gorgeous Sisley Botanical Facial. Sisley uses botanical active ingredients and essential oils in their beauty products which makes them to die for. I had tried some of their products before and found them really great. Firstly I was asked to lie down on this gorgeous warm bed and to relax and enjoy the next 40minutes. Grace cleansed my face by massaging Lyslait Cleansing Milk with White Lily into my face and wiping away with warm face towels. This was done twice and the towels were so nice on my face.

Next step was buffing. Grace used Crème Gommante which is an exfoliate that you pay gently into the skin. Once it was slightly hard on the face, Grace buffed away the dead skin cells using Sisley’s Gentle Brush specially designed for this.
Afterwards my skin felt so soft I actually could not believe how smooth it was. Then she sprayed the Floral Spray Mist (non alcohol toner) over my face, this helps the skin to absorb the Sisley oils used in the next step. Next was a facial massage which can only be described as OUT OF THIS WORLD. It’s a very weird feeling someone poking at your face but it did feel so nice. The massage cream used was for lymph drainage and to increase microcirculation in the face.
Next up was 2 different face masks that were chosen for my exact skin type and chosen to suit my skin concerns. The two I chose were Express Flower Gel Mask (as my skin was dehydrated and I have used this before & love it) and 2nd one was Sisley’s famous Award Winning Red Clay Radiance Mask. Both were left on aswell as an Eye Contour Mask for reducing puffiness and darkness and minimilising the appearance of fine lines. Whilst all the masks were working their magic, I was half asleep at this stage Grace gave me a hand and arm massage. She then finished off with a serum and moisturiser and eye cream of my choice. I could have gotten the optional make up applied after but I wanted to let my skin breathe.
Overall the facial was amazing. From the minute you walk into the treatment room it is a luxurious experience. Grace was so lovely and when I asked about certain products she was full of knowledge on how & when to apply them. I would DEFINITELY recommend the Buffing Cream and Red Clay Radiance Mask both are unbelievable products. So why not book your own Sisley facial today? It is redeemable against products in store which is even better. Go on girls TREAT YOURSELVES…. We deserve it you will leave feeling relaxed and glowing!Images: www.sisley-cosmetics.com
